與去年相似，北外2023英語語言文學方向碩士基礎和寫作考題還是非常注重考查同學們對英美文學、西方文化和歷史的了解和主觀輸出的能力，但值得注意的是疫情相關的實事關懷也進入了考題的視野，大家備考時也應注重全方面積累以及多多深入思考，千萬不要“兩耳不聞窗外事，一心只讀考研書”。
大量閱讀、獨立思考、人文關懷本就是英語學術型準研究生/研究生必備的基本素質，不宜再過度功利地區分“課內書/課外書”。
一、基礎英語
真題回憶、答題思路解析
基礎英語題仍然是改錯題，內容是梵高的《睡蓮》及印象派相關內容，接下來是兩篇閱讀選擇題，1篇閱讀主觀題，有3道5分的簡答題和一個15分字數要求至少120詞的小作文。篇閱讀是柏林的住房問題，第二篇閱讀聚焦疫情與教育的話題，談及疫情在美國對窮苦階層的孩子們沖擊，對他們的閱讀能力和數學能力的培養產生了巨大影響。閱讀簡答題聚焦在“colorful

二、寫作能力
真題回憶、答題思路解析
今年寫作題的題型從無選項填空改回了summary，需要將一篇500詞左右的文章濃縮到200詞內，強調了不允許照抄原文，這也是我們平時講評、練習的重點，即需要鍛煉出快速用自己的話paraphrase與總結的能力。
第二題詩歌賞析還是控制在150詞內，一段寫understanding，一段寫comment，這次考察到的是美國20世紀的現代詩人之一Robert
